Ben and Amy met on April 22, 2007, a warm Sunday evening, at none other than the coffee shop of love, Café Amoré. Ben had been attending a Sunday evening Bible study at the café when their mutual friends encouraged Amy to attend as well. Amy noticed Ben from the moment she walked in, but because she had secretly known and stalked Ben for years, she was too shy to start a conversation. The Bible study came to a close and as Ben was gathering his belongings, he spotted Amy from across the room. He quickly walked to her and noticed her tattered Bible. Ben started the conversation, as he would any, teasing Amy about her worn KJV Bible.
